These terms cover both this website (jodd.bbmedia.co.th) and the Jodd cross-platform application. By downloading, installing, or using Jodd, or by browsing this site, you agree to them.

1. Not affiliated with Apple, Google, or Microsoft

Jodd is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc., Google LLC, or Microsoft Corporation. "Apple Notes," "Gmail," "Outlook," and related names/marks belong to their respective owners. Jodd interoperates with Apple Notes and Gmail by reading and writing standard email messages your own account already contains, and with Apple Notes and a Microsoft account by reading and writing Exchange note items through the Microsoft Graph API — it does not use any private or non-public API from any of these companies. Jodd also offers a third, Local Folder mode with no account and no interoperation with Apple Notes at all — see Privacy Policy section 1 for what that does and doesn't do.

2. The software is open source

Jodd's source code is published under the Apache License 2.0 at github.com/BBM-Co-ORG/Jodd-public. That license governs your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the code. These Terms of Use don't add restrictions on top of it — they cover things the license doesn't, like this website and your Google or Microsoft account.

3. Developer Preview

Jodd is a Developer Preview intended for technical evaluation and hands-on use. Some builds are unsigned, Gmail and Microsoft onboarding require technical configuration (a Local Folder vault needs none — no account, no OAuth), Android coverage is still expanding, and features may change. Back up important data and review the current limitations before relying on Jodd — a Microsoft-connected account has different guarantees than a Gmail one, including no recoverable delete (see the Privacy Policy and the homepage's limitations section).

4. No warranty

Jodd is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use it at your own risk. See the Apache License 2.0 for the full warranty and liability disclaimer that governs the software itself.

5. Your Google or Microsoft Account

Connecting a Google account to Jodd is subject to Google's own Terms of Service. Connecting a Microsoft account is subject to Microsoft's Services Agreement. Jodd doesn't control either provider's service, Gmail's or Outlook's availability, or Apple's Notes-sync behavior — if any of these change in a way that affects Jodd, that's outside what we can promise or fix on a timeline. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what Jodd itself accesses and does with it, including where a Microsoft account's guarantees differ from a Gmail account's. This section doesn't apply if you use a Local Folder vault instead — there's no account involved.

6. This website

This site is informational — it describes Jodd, links to the source code, and hosts the Privacy Policy and these terms. We don't run ads, trackers, or analytics on it, and it doesn't set cookies.

7. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will change, and for any material change we'll note it in the app's changelog.
